About the Role
As the Vice President (VP) of Product Development and senior executive, maintain responsibility for overseeing the product development process of assigned accounts, from initial concept to launch, and ensuring products developed meet market needs and business objectives. This role involves setting the product strategy, defining the respective product roadmaps, and collaborating with various internal and account teams to drive innovation and achieve successful product launches.
As the VP of Product Development you will be expected to use and maintain knowledge of a variety of tools and software, which manage product development, including project management software, user research tools, data analysis platforms, design and prototyping tools, and roadmapping tools.
You are a strategic leader who is responsible for ensuring delivered products provide value to our agency and the customer(s) of assigned accounts.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Setting Product Vision and Strategy: Defining the overall direction and goals for the product portfolio.
Developing Product Roadmaps: Creating a plan for future product development and releases.
Market Analysis and Understanding: Identifying opportunities and trends in the market to inform product development decisions.
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Working with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure successful product launches.
Prioritizing and Allocating Resources: Deciding which features and products to develop and allocating resources accordingly.
Customer Advocacy: Representing the customer voice throughout the product development process.
Ensuring Value Delivery: Making sure products deliver on their intended value and meet customer needs.
Performance Measurement and Reporting: Tracking key metrics and providing reports on product performance.
