Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
A.M. Tech Consulting (“we,” “us”) provides professional consulting in reliability engineering, systems architecture, delivery operations, software development, and applied AI. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit https://www.amtechconsulting.org, schedule a consultation, or email us.
This policy covers the public website and inquiry path. Client work is also governed by the written engagement. Where the two differ, the engagement controls for project data.
2. Information we collect
You provide
- Inquiries — name, email, and whatever you include when you write info@amtechconsulting.org.
- Scheduling — name, email, timezone, meeting time, and any notes you enter in Calendly when you book a consultation.
- Engagement materials — systems information, code, credentials you choose to share, documents, and working notes once a paid engagement is underway. That material is collected to perform the work, not to market the firm.
Collected automatically
- Hosting logs — this site is static. The host may record IP address, user agent, and requested URLs for security and operations. We do not run a marketing pixel or a first-party analytics profile of visitors.
- Calendly — the scheduler is embedded from Calendly. Calendly may set cookies and process booking data under its own privacy policy.
3. How we use it
- Respond to inquiries and run consultations.
- Decide whether a scoped engagement is appropriate.
- Perform contracted design, development, reliability, and operations work.
- Keep records required for professional, tax, and legal obligations.
- Protect the security of systems we operate on your behalf.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use client engagement data to train public models or to build a marketing list.
4. Development work, AI, and intellectual property
Client source code, infrastructure, credentials, datasets, and production details stay inside the engagement. They are not reused for other clients and are not published.
Methods, architectures, tooling patterns, and writing we already owned or that are generalized from the work (without your confidential material) remain ours. Deliverables specified in the engagement — the software, runbooks, and artifacts built for you — are handled as the engagement states. If an engagement is silent, we treat your confidential business and system information as yours.
Where applied AI is in scope, prompts and outputs that contain your data are treated as engagement material. We do not put client data into tools that use it to train a general model unless the engagement expressly says so.
5. Who we share with
- Service providers — email hosting, Calendly (scheduling), and the site host, each limited to what they need to run their service.
- Advisors — counsel or accountants under confidentiality, when required.
- Legal requirement — if the law, a court, or a security incident requires it.
We do not share client repositories, credentials, or production data with other clients.
6. Retention
Inquiry and scheduling records are kept as long as needed to follow up and to maintain a professional record, then deleted or archived. Project materials follow the engagement and our retention for work papers and legal hold. You may ask us to delete inquiry data; we will, except where we must keep a record.
7. Your choices
Email info@amtechconsulting.org to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to ask what we have from an inquiry. Calendly bookings can also be managed through Calendly’s own tools. If you are in a jurisdiction with additional privacy rights, we will honor applicable requests.
8. Children
This site and these services are for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of the site after an update means you have seen the current version.
